When a character's gender cannot be reliably deciphered. For example, a character with no known canonical gender, and/or is fully_clothed or wearing full_armor that has no obvious masculine or feminine traits.
Use androgynous instead if the character's has a canonical gender but still exhibits physical features that are not obviously masculine or feminine.
